Little Paradise is located in Noordhoek, the green heart of the Peninsula, half way between Cape Town an the Cape of Good Hope. Noordhoek attracts especially those in touch with nature. Its 6 km beach is the longest stretch of pure white sand in the whole peninsula. Indigenous Cape Fynbos cover the slopes of surrounding mountains and stretch down to the coastal plain, the wetlands area and our gardens.
Little Paradise belongs to the beautiful vicinity of Dassenberg Meadows. The grounds are large (one acre or more), the gardens are lush and green. Lots of our neighbors have stables with horses or grow their own food. While strolling through the relaxed neighborhood you’ll meet horse riders on their way to Guy’s coffee shop at the nearby Garden Emporium or the local Nature Reserve just over the main Road.
Noordhoeks village center, the vibrant Noordhoek Farm Village with its four restaurants (including the famous Foodbarn) and numerous curio shops is a 3 minutes drive away.
Almost next door to the Farm Village you’ll find Cape Point Vineyards, our local wine estate - one of the finest wineries in the entire Cape. Here you can picnic, have a wine tasting, feast at the weekly food market or enjoy the wine and food in the restaurant – all with amazing views of the sea, the mountains and the valley.
Opposite to Noordhoek Common, a large public space with streams, horses and lots of wildlife you’ll find Jakes Cafe Restaurant Bar.
On your way to our Beach you’ll love to stop at the Red Herring Trading Post, a small commercial district with several restaurants, bistros and shops. Especially the italian restaurant and the mircro brewery and restaurant Aegir are a must.
The two major shopping malls 'Longbeach Mall and Sun Valley Mall' and a modern fitness center are less than 5 minutes away.
Noordhoek offers horse-riding on the beach, whale watching, hiking trails, surfing, bird-watching and an art route. In the immediate vicinity of Noordhoek are four golf courses and some of the main attractions of the Cape like Chapman's Peak Drive (one of the most scenic coastal drives in the world), the penguins of Simonstown, Cape of Good Hope, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens or the oldest wineries in South Africa.
The main attractions of the Cape like the V&A Waterfront, Table Mountain, Cape of Good Hope, Constantia Winelands are all within a few minutes drive.
