| The Addo Elephant Park is especially interesting for holiday-makers in the Western Cape, it offers nevertheless the next occasion to observe the Big Five - elephant, lion, rhinoceros, buffalo and leopard - in a large natural reservation on a safari. And with the current enlargement it becomes a park also for for whales and the white shark - the Big Seven! |
| The park is situated north of Port Elizabeth and also still accommodates kudus, zebras and a large amount of bush goats, elans and other relatives as well as innumerable birds. The pill lathe operators are a special attraction, however. These inconspicuous flight-incapable beetles are almost only still to be found in the Addo Elephant Park. |
| The park offers game observation streets and lookouts at water holes. Hikers can experience the park on foot in a separated reservation. Dominating plants are bacon trees, aloe kinds and pelargonium. |
