The Cape Peninsula offers excellent diving opportunities.
Its position between two oceans, ensures a rich diversity of marine life: boulders, caves, kelp forests, walls of coral, spectacular reefs, uncountable shipwrecks, seals, dolphins - even whales... The visibility in the Atlantic is about 5 to 20 m. In summer the water temperature reaches 16 degree Celsius, but in winter you must calculate with 8 degrees.
The False Bay is about 5 to 6 degrees warmer... There you'll find more colourful species.

The world's top spot for viewing the Great White Shark is just two hours remote from Little Paradise in Gansbaai. While divers fear in a steel-cage non-divers can enjoy viewing from the boat.
