Beside the lovely house our garden contributes to the special atmosphere of Little Paradise. About 3500 sqm offer sufficient place for breathing and relaxing. A feeling of boundless freedom and appears, especially close by to our lion’s fountain, our ponds or to the protea-pavillon.
Except a few rose bushes the whole garden is planted with typical flowers and bushes from the Cape and South Africa. And of course, you’ll also find the well known pincushin proteas and many other acquaintances from your excursions through the nature reserves close by.
It does not matter in which season you’ll stroll around the garden: Some of our plants definitely will be in bossom.
And these blossoms attract innumerable bird kinds. From the small Sunbirds up to the Ibis and the Egyptian goose we have numerous visitors in our garden.
So be not surprised, when seeing that our two cats -in the sense of a peaceful coexistence- wear small bells. Furthermore we also have frogs and fish in our ponds and some chickens in the chicken palace. Fresh eggs are guaranteed.
There is also a herb garden and two vegetable beds. Please feel free to help yourselves, especially with the lemons from our two lemon trees and the bananas from our banana tree.
