The Cape Peninsula is about 60 km long and reaches from the Good Hope and Cape Point at the south end to Cape Town at the north end. The 470 square kilometers are divided from a spectacular mountain chain which begins at Table Mountain and' extends 'over the '12 apostles' to Cape Point.

The kind-richest empire of the world with the greatest concentration of plant species is the Cape Peninsula. 600 Erica kinds increase here, on the rest of the world whole 26!

So it does not amaze that the biggest part of the Cape Peninsula was put under nature conservation and that the 'Cape Penisula National Park', also called 'Table Mountain National Park' was raised.

The cape peninsula offers something for every taste: marvellous coastal roadst as for example of the Chapman`s Peak Drive, mountains passes, lovely coastal places as Noordhoek or Simon`s Town, vineries in the Constantia Valley, the interesting vegetation of the Cape Floral Kingdom with the typical Fynbos- vegetation, zebras, whales, dolphins, penguins, seals, innumerable bays and beaches.
