Bloubergstrand is a suburb of Cape Town located on the shores of Table Bay, about 25km north of the city centre. Its name in Afrikaans means 'blue mountain beach' after Blouberg, a small mountain close to the coast.

Bloubergstrand is known for its white sandy beaches and one of the most beautiful and most photographed views of Table Mountain. The beaches are popular with sports enthusiasts (surfing and kite-surfing) but also ideal for long beach walks and evening sundowners and picnics.
