The most southern point of Africa is Cape Agulhas. Here proceeds the boundary between the Indian and the Atlantic Ocean. A commemorating-plate which was let into a base of stones can be seen.

This tour is not only worth while because of the geographic special feature, but rather because of the charm-full small fishing villages as Arniston, Struisbaai and Agulhas with their houses and long beaches and the marvellous Nature Reserves, as for example the almost unknown one, called 'Du Mond Nature Reserve'.

Nature enthusiasts will love this place!
The 27 meters high lighthouse at the Cape Agulhas was built in 1848 and houses a lighthouse museum and a small restaurant. The lighthouse can be climbed and offers a beautiful panorama then. The 'beacon' gives about 30 nautical miles and has the power of approx. 7.500.000 candles
