The day tour leads you through the vineyards from Paarl and Wellington to the contemplative Tulbagh, a small village from the 18th and 19th century at the northern end of the wide and fertile Breede River Valley. The situation of Tulbagh is spectacular. Up to 2000 m high mountains surround the village. |

After an earthquake in 1969 numerous buildings were built up again in the most beautiful Cape-Dutch style. It is really unique, that all the 32 buildings of the Churchstreet are under monument protection. The drive to Tulbagh is scenic and charming and includes the 30 km long and spectacular Bain's Kloof Pass. |
